Logging on to a bit of entertainment space, a team of technology professionals at the Thiruvananthapuram Technopark has come out with a music album.

Titled Voice of the Park, the album comes from a group of debutant artistes comprising about 25 musicians and supporting crew from companies including Allianz Cornhill, Infosys, IBS and UST Global. The album, which was brought out with financial support from the Oceanus Group, was released by actor Mohanlal.

Voice of the Park has been worked on from start to finish by Technopark employees with no involvement by any professional musician. The musical extravaganza was managed within the Technopark. Everything from the music – vocals and instruments – down to the designing of the CD covers has been handled by the debutants from Technopark.

The album is a blend of cultures and has songs in four different languages including English, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil.

As many as 8,000 CDs were distributed free among the Technopark employees, said a Technopark spokesperson.

Speaking on the new initiative, RK Nair, CEO, Technopark, said, “Corporate boundaries and tight work schedules notwithstanding, a group of ardent music lovers has put together this exquisite collection of songs. The album is the voice that has emulated through the passion for music from Kerala’s technology park. This is the voice of the park.”
